Sunny Varkey presents the 2023 World Teachers' Prize

Each year, the Global Teacher Prize of the Varkey Foundation (owner of École des Roches) rewards the outstanding teacher who has made an exceptional contribution to his or her profession, from among thousands of nominations from all over the world.

The World Teachers' Prize is organized in collaboration with UNESCO and in strategic partnership with Dubai Cares, a global philanthropic organization based in the United Arab Emirates .One of the ten finalists was from France.

This year ,Pakistani teacher Sister Zeph, who founded her own school for underprivileged children in the courtyard of her home at just 13 years of age, was named winner of the Varkey Foundation Global Teacher Prize 2023.
