Meeting 2023 with the Captains

Since the first time in 2017, a day-long meeting has been organized between the Captains and the Alumni, with House Parents taking part in the last hour. Usually organized in the second half of the year, at the Stephane Royo 's instigation, Director of the School, this meeting took place in the second week of the start of the 2023 academic year.

Focused on listening to the Captains, in search of the experience of the Alumni and also confronted with new operational realities, the meeting addressed the values of the School, the role of the Captains, their responsibilities, the resources made available to them, their relationships with other students and with the Heads of House, as well as their personal involvement and the repercussions of this exceptional experience on their lives.

Enlivened by a game of "Post-it" and role-playing, Current and Alumni, as well as the House Leaders, came away enriched by this shared reflection. "Well armed for life" is still not an empty declaration, but a goal that the "New School" of 1899 wanted to achieve, and which remains the goal for 2023.
