Deaths - Patrick GUERRAND HERMES has passed away!
Patrick Guerrand Hermès died at the age of 92 on the morning of Tuesday August 13 in Apremont, on the grounds of the Chantilly Polo Club. He was the grandson of Thierry Hermès, founder of the luxury house of the same name. Director of Hermès until 2012, Patrick-Guerrand-Hermès then retired and spent nine months a year in Morocco, pursuing business and philanthropic activities.
The rest of the time, he is based in Vineuil-Saint-Firmin, in the Oise region, promoting polo at the Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly.Patrick Guerrand-Hermès was last seen on August 7 during the return polo match between France and the United States.
Interment took place on Tuesday August 20, in the Vinueil-Saint-Firmin cemetery, in the privacy of the family. A service of thanksgiving will be held at the Église Protestante unie de l'Étoile, 56, avenue de la Grande-Armée, Paris (17th arrondissement), on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 10:30 am.
